حذر المصري مجدي راضي ان الخطر الرئيسي من انفلونزا الطيور بالبلاد يقبع في تربيه الطيور داخل او بالقرب من المنازل.
على الرغم من ان 60% من الدواجن المنزليه قد تم تحصينها , التحذير مايزال مستمر بالبلاد
منذ الظهور الاولي لانفلونزا الطيور في بدايه ال 2006, قدر عدد الضحايا من البشر ب 43 قضيه من انفلوزنزا الطيور من بينهم 19 قد لقوا حتفهم و 40 منهم هم ضحايا تربيه الدواجن داخل او بالقرب من منازلهم.
Egyptian cabinet spokesman Magdi Radi warns that the real danger of bird flu in the country lays in raising birds inside or near homes.
Although 60% of domestic poultry have been vaccinated, the warning is still strong in the country.
Since the first outbreak of avian influenza in the beginning of 2006, there have been 43 human cases of bird flu, (including 19 fatalities), of which 40 were reportedly a result of rearing poultry in or near homes, says Radi.
He also said that the concerned departments were intensifying efforts, especially in rural areas, to complete inoculation of the remaining 40% of poultry in the country
